Our aim is that all the patients should be well informed of all reasonably possible treatment options, their associated advantages, disadvantages and potential complications, along with the time frame to complete the treatment and associated costs and proper follow-up care. In cases where the dental treatment is beyond our scope of management, we can facilitate referral to any alternative dental specialist in our area.

Dr. Rahul Gautam is the longest established emergency dentist based in central Hamilton serving Waikato and other areas not limited to Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga, Morrinsville, Rotorua, Raglan. He took over the operations from the retiring dentist Dr. Nigel McCool in the year 2008 and since then have worked relentlessly to increase the scope of the dental services in this practice.
Rahul focuses on challenging surgical cases of impacted tooth extractions, the aesthetic replacement of missing teeth, the management of dental trauma, and the restoration of severely worn, eroded and decayed dentitions. He works closely with referring dentists, dental specialists, dental technicians and medical specialists to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.
For anxious patients, he works along side a fully trained anesthetist specialist for performing surgeries under IV sedation or General Anesthetic if required. Rahul also has special interest in looking after patient’s who are medically compromised and cannot wait for the long waiting lists of specialists and the hospital.
His main mission is to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care for patients after acquiring continuing educational qualifications from reputed Dental universities by way of examination.
Dr. David Smith

Dr. David Smith is a graduate from University of Otago (1971). With more than 47 years of experience as a dentist. While working in New Zealand, Australia and the UK he has dedicated himself to the comfort of the patient and the support of the other dentists, facilitating respect between patients and providers, consoling nervous patients, focusing on preventative dentistry.
In this clinic he looks after a wide variety of patients of all the age groups. Dr. David's contribution to patient care has been well appreciated and devotion to his role and stamina to maintain it is well recognised among fellow colleagues and patients.
His focus in this practice is on completing detailed examinations of the patients and performing emergency extractions, cavity fills and root canals. Fitting and aligning full and partial dentures. Diagnosing diseases and abnormalities and recommending patients for specialty care.
Dr Smith is currently on Sabbatical leave.
Dr. Esha Arora

Dr. Esha Arora is a highly skilled dentist with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the People's College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre in Bhopal, India. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Arora has practiced both in India and New Zealand, specialising in esthetic dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has a reputation for delivering excellent patient care while exercising sound clinical judgment.
Dr. Arora has worked in various roles, from dental assistant to lead dentist, gaining comprehensive experience in performing routine check-ups, extractions, fillings, and root canals. She has also handled numerous dental emergencies. Her approach to dentistry emphasises patient comfort and education, ensuring that every patient understands their treatment plan and the importance of oral hygiene.
Dr. Arora is dedicated to providing a wide range of dental services, including surgical extractions and restorative treatments. Dr. Arora's commitment to continuous learning and improvement is evident in her ongoing professional development, including her recent orientation training at the Royal Dental College in Melbourne.
